BLOCK PARTY

You are cordially invited to bring the whole family down and participate in our 2nd annual family-friendly block party event and CELEBRATE Living Your Best Life OUT LOUD!

When: Sunday, June 23, 2024
Time: 11 am - 4 pm
Where: NE Birch Street between 4th and 5th aves.

We are VERY EXCITED for this family-friendly afternoon of fun, food, and celebration.

9:30 am - 10:30 am

Kick off the day with us and join us inside our studio space for an all ages Family Queer Yoga Class.

This all ages class will be 60 mins of building community, movement, fun and laughter offered by donation.

*Please note that there are only 15 spots available. The proceeds from this class will go directly to LiveWell Camas in order to help us continue to create equitable opportunities for people to practice with us.

11:30 am

Show us your PRIDE and strut your stuff in this years Fashion Show sponsored by Lily.

Grab your Bestie and/or your favorite fur baby and strut, dance and laugh your way down the runway.

Please meet at the booth in front of LiveWell Camas no later than 11 am to reserve your spot.

11 am - 4 pm

Bring your gently used clothing and swap it out for something different!

We will have volunteers helping you to organize the clothing you are dropping off and mirrors available to check out your new goods too!

Any clothing left over at the conclusion of the event will be donated to local women’s shelters

Sit and Play Piano

I am a local Camas music educator and will be offering a sign-up for a free group music workshop series for queer folks. It is my passion to empower students to jam with a band, write/record their own tunes, and play the songs that liberate them. I will also be selling my music theory curriculum and advertising private lesson opportunities. I am looking forward to connecting with people around expressing themselves more joyfully through music!

This Block Party is an opportunity to have a whole lot of fun and to celebrate with you all! This is an all-ages family-friendly event full of many ways to express yourself, access resources and build community.

The event hours are 11 am-4 pm. **Queer Family Yoga Begins at 9:30 am

Does it cost money to attend?

The CAMAS PRIDE: Live Your Best Life BLOCK PARTY is a donation-based event. We suggest a $5-10 donation, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. There will be a variety of activities and vendors on sight including food vendors. **Proceeds from this event are split between LiveWell Camas (a nonprofit yoga studio) and a local organization the supports the LGBTQIA2S+ community TBD.

What are the general rules for attending the block party?

Where is the block party located?
The CAMAS PRIDE: Live Your Best Life BLOCK PARTY is located downtown Camas NE Birch Ave between 4th and 5th.

Where is nearby parking?
There is no designated parking for the block party. Street parking is available nearby, but space is limited. There is a public parking lot on Birch and 7th.

Can I bring drinks and food into the block party?

Yes, attendees are allowed to bring their own food and drinks into the block party, with a few restrictions. No alcohol or cannabis edibles are allowed into the block party grounds.

Are pets allowed in the block party?
Yes, animals are allowed into the block party, but they must be contained or on a leash at all times. All pet waste must be cleaned up by owners.
